Daytona "Big Red"

Without a doubt, one of the most legendary dial variations on the Rolex Daytona. While the mention of "Daytona" hasn't always been present on the dials of this iconic model, its color is also subject to variations... By definition, the term "Big Red" corresponds to the size of the "Daytona" inscription on the dial of a Rolex Daytona 6263 or 6265. It contrasts with service dials with Tritium that feature a slightly different marking. These are referred to as "Small Red," where the "Daytona" inscription is thinner and more compact, positioned above the 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock indexes.
